Albert Kostin 1892-1984

Albert Kostin was born in Russia in 1892. He moved to Paris where he joined the Ecole de Paris in 1912 and specialized in cubism. Later he moved to the US and became a member of the New York School of abstract-expressionism. Pablo Picasso was an inspiration to Albert Kostin during his Paris’ years, in New York he worked (among others) with Jackson Pollock.
